Yes, Prada Amber Intense is discontinued. Prada, the renowned luxury fashion house, decided to stop the production of their Amber Intense fragrance, much to the disappointment of its many fans.My thoughts after owning the discontinued Amber Pour Homme Intense for the last six months. 1. I love this. 2. They don't smell alike, but this fills a similar role in my rotation to L'Instant de Guerlain EDT. The Guerlain is a touch classier/elegant and the Prada is a touch "rawer" with a slightly dirty (in a good way) aura.
The original Prada Amber fragrance has been renamed as L’Homme Prada Intense and is still available for purchase. However, if you’re looking for the exact same scent as the original Prada Amber, you may have to do some searching online or check with specialty perfume stores. People have been confused as to whether or not it is discontinued for years it seems. I tend to think not, since it is consistently available on discounters, and I've seen it around in person as well. It is also still live (though not available for purchase) on the Prada website. Supposedly it has been permanently discontinued, I read a guy contacted them regarding this awhile back. I imagine the rest of the stock went to the grey market and discounters and will gradually decline, check out the fragrantica page and you will find the most voted on dupes in order of likeness, or stock up while you can , Hope this helps .
