What came out of my watch (with very little effort) does not match what came in the mail, as per the photo below. Female/male stem. Pull it out straight with enough effort and it’ll come off. Then you push compressed air into the crown hole and the crystal pops off. Movement has two hooks, tilt the watch slightly to the right (IIRC) and it’ll come out. I'm trying to clean up an old Omega Seamaster that appears to be a front loader since I can't see any caseback and was able to remove the bezel and acrylic crystal from the front.To remove the movement, you rotate the locking ring. I will try to get some pictures of this system. BEFORE you replace the crystal, line the movement half of the stem up with the crown tube, then push the crown part of the stem into the tube.
The caseback opener tool works. The springbar remover removes springbars. It'll do for now. I needed a tiny screwdriver too, so I bought these which also seem to perform fine - for now.
