If you notice a lot of condensation under the crystal or water on the dial, it needs to be serviced immediately. The longer you wait, the more likely to have major rust damage, damage to the dial and hands etc. When it started to clear, there were 2-3 very tiny beads of condensation visible on the inside of the crystal. I took it home and it has been sitting in a bag full of silica gel packets for a few hours. Your fridge is a great dehumidifier. Leave in fridge overnight. Put some lubricant on the gasket to improve seal. Put caseback on while still in fridge to reduce chance of any humidity getting inside watch. Then give the dog another bath. Condensation in my new SkyD! :( Rolex General Discussion. Your watch has an issue, send it in. Condensation happens when hot air that got inside the watch touches a colder surface and cools. Hot moist air gives up energy and transfers from gas to liquid. You need to figure out how hot moist air got into the watch. My bet is one some o-ring or gasket leaking. _____ I suspect condensation inside the watch. If you're talking about condensation that formed outside (or on) the watch near the crown with the crown unscrewed or unscrewed and pulled out - which I think is what you are saying - then no worries as others have mentioned and shown. But obviously if any condensation was visible inside the watch, then that's likely something to get checked out. They gave me a call 30 minutes later and the watch was dry and luckily no damage to movement! They suspect the water entered thru the crown. Going to go ahead and have the watch serviced now and send the bracelet to MY. Your fridge is a great dehumidifier. Leave in fridge overnight. Put some lubricant on the gasket to improve seal.
