My brother has offered to let me use this Hermes tie for an upcoming off-cycle (lateral) analyst interview at a top BB. I'll be wearing black shoes/belt and a charcoal suit/white shirt. And is there any way to find previous Hermes tie designs? All the ones I've seen that I really like aren't on their website anymore, and I can't find them on eBay either. My favorite one I've seen is probably the 5394 OA or 5400 OA 6y. There will be plenty of people who wear Hermes and immediately recognize your tie. Of those people, a good portion will view an Hermes tie as a symbol of success - something they had to earn. Because you're an intern, you've obviously not earned it. This definitely could rub a handful of people the wrong way.
